Remote Operations Role – National Installations
MK Quilts is seeking a highly organized, detail-driven professional to coordinate machine deliveries and installations across the U.S. This role ensures every customer installation is scheduled, prepared, and executed smoothly.
This is an operations and logistics leadership role — not a field labor position.
About the Role
The Deployment Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing machine installations performed by contract technicians. You ensure the right technician, tools, timing, and customer preparation align so each install is successful on the first visit.
You are the bridge between:
- Sales
- Customers
- Installation Technicians
- Support & Training
Primary Responsibilities
Installation Scheduling & Logistics
- Schedule installations with customers and technicians
- Coordinate travel timing and site readiness
- Confirm equipment, parts, and tools are prepared
- Maintain installation calendar and timelines
Technician Coordination
- Assign installers based on location and skill fit
- Provide job details and checklists
- Serve as escalation point during installations
- Track technician performance and reliability
Customer Readiness
- Confirm room measurements, electrical access, and site prep
- Set expectations for install day and training flow
- Ensure customer paperwork and documentation are complete
Quality Control
- Review installation photos and reports
- Identify recurring issues and improve procedures
- Maintain installation checklists and standards
Cross-Department Communication
- Work closely with sales on delivery timing
- Coordinate with support for post-install needs
- Update CRM and internal tracking systems

- Technicians arrive prepared and informed
- Customers feel guided and confident
- Fewer post-install support issues
- Clear documentation and communication
Required Skills
- Strong organizational ability
- Experience coordinating logistics or projects
- Comfortable managing multiple moving parts
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Problem-solving mindset
- Comfortable with CRM and scheduling systems

- Quilting or sewing industry familiarity
Work Style
- Primarily remote
- Structured but fast-moving environment
